Here we are finally dug out from the snow and watching the last white remnants melt away. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new bright red tulips we planted last year. Before you know it, our heated pool will be open, the grills will be smoking and the greenhouse will be full of fresh herbs and spices.
Being right across the street from the lake, the mall and Merriweather Post Pavilion affords us the luxury that most people don’t have.
Right now we have an 840 Sq. Ft. one bedroom apartment facing the garden. It has a large bath and full size washer/dryer. There is privacy corner on the patio in case you want to have your coffee in your bathrobe! What are you waiting for? Come on in and check it out. See you soon!

THE EVERGREENS IS READY FOR THE NEW YEAR WITH SO MANY EVENTS COMING IN THE NEXT TWO MONTHS!
First off on January 15th is our Meet and Greet Happy Hour in our clubroom!
Followed by Bagels and Bits on Sunday the 24th..this is one of the most favored events that the Evergreens presents once a month. This brunch is loaded with all the favorites such as waffles made to order, salmon, eggs, toast, muffins and deserts! You just have to witness it to believe it!
During the week our movie night continues, Bingo on Thursday afternoons, Poker night, game night, afternoon Knit or Knot, Yoga and Stretch ‘n Flex!
So, if you are an active person over 55 and want to come and live in a very lively, lovely community of seniors that are experiencing the time of their lives, and making life long friends in the process…call or come by the building and you will soon be not shoveling snow, but watching the fire roaring in the clubroom, and visiting with all your new friends.

Our decorators are transforming our hallways and common areas into a palatial wonderland of holiday excitement and charm……so, the next time you are at the mall, walk over and visit us. Fall has arrived at the Evergreens ! The leaves have turned yellow and bright red..simply gorgeous! Homes have started to sell faster now, and so are the luxury apartments here in the building! We are warming up for our annual Halloween Costume party, our monthly cocktail (meet and greet), Bagels and Bits and Afternoon Tea..Not to mention our monthly movie night and bingo! Never a dull moment at the Evergreens at Columbia Town Center. So if you are an active adult, come on by and take a look…but wear your tennis shoes because you will always be on the run!

Here we are beginning another year (2010) and filling in the spaces…or should I say, apartments! The end of this month we will have a two bedroom/family room with a view “to kill for.” This grandiose apartment has a huge foyer big enough to hold a press conference! You’ll be too busy for that however; living directly across from the mall can be very tempting! Spring will be here before you know it and the lake front activities will begin.
